Outlook - Accessing a mailbox that has been shared with you
Outlook Application instructions In the Outlook desktop search box at the top, search for "Open Other User's Folder" In the results of the search, select the action "Open Other User's Folder" In the resulting dialog enter the email address of the shared mailbox, folder type "Inbox", select "OK" The shared inbox should then be visible in the menu to the left in Outlook Outlook Web instructions In Outlook Web Click on your user profile icon in the upper right corner Click "Open another mailbox" Enter the email address of the shared mailbox and click "Open" The shared mailbox should open in a new tab

Opening a Shared Calendar in Outlook
From the Outlook desktop application Open your Outlook application. Select the Calendar icon at the bottom left of the windows. Expand the chevron under Shared Calendars or All Group Calendars to view all with permissions to view. Select the Calendar to view. If the Calendar does not appear in your listing Right click on Shared Calendars. Select Add Calendar. Open Shared Calendar. Enter the name of the Calendar and select OK.

More Information Needed at Email Sign In
More information needed at Email sign in Select Next to provide additional information to keep your account secure. At minimum, two of the Authentication options below must be set up. This will allow your password to be reset, as needed, in the future. We will not use your information for Spam or Phishing purposes. For Employees, your office phone is automatically set up for you. You can choose from the following: Authentication Phone (use your cell phone), Authentication Email (use a third-party email address) Set up Security Questions. Two authentication verification options have been set. You can choose to add an additional step or Finish.

Open Another Mailbox in Outlook 365
Open your email in Outlook 365 via Faculty & Staff | Lincoln Land Community College (llcc.edu) and select the Email link under Faculty/Staff Resources. When using Chrome or Edge, you will be auto-logged in to your email account. Click on your picture/initials in the upper right corner. Select the Open Another Mailbox link. Enter the name of the mailbox, select from the listings and click on Open. A new browser window should open and display the inbox for the desired account. To view the calendar you will need to click on the Calendar link. If you receive an error message like "You do not have permission to open this mailbox. For access or for more information, contact technical support for your organization" please contact the shared mailbox owner and ask them to check the sharing permissions or contact the IT Helpdesk for assistance.

Adding a Shared Email Mailbox Through Outlook 365 Desktop App
Adding a Shared Email Mailbox Through Outlook 365 Desktop App Log onto your computer as yourself and start the Outlook Desktop app Choose the File tab on the ribbon. Under Account Information, click Add Account In the next window, enter the email address of the mailbox you want to add and click Connect: A new window will open requesting you to sign in with your LLCC username and password. Enter your LLCC credentials and click “Sign In”. The shared mailbox will be displayed at the left in Outlook below your personal mailbox. Do this for each mailbox that you would like added to Outlook. A password is not necessary as access to the three mailboxes has been granted.

Setting up Outlook Mobile on an iOS device (iPhone or iPad)
Step 1: Download Outlook for iOS from the iOS App Store and then open it. The icon looks like this: Step 2: If it's your first time using Outlook for iOS, enter your full email address, then tap Add Account. If not, open the Menu > tap Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account. Step 3: Enter your email account password and tap Sign In. Step 4: If multi-factor authentication is enabled, verify your identity. For more information, see Security info overview. Step 5: Accept any prompts for permission you may receive. Swipe through the features and you're now ready to use Outlook for iOS!
