Network Printer Not Printing
Nothing is printing from the network printer. Jobs appear to be stuck in the print queue.
Check the status of the printer for power, that the display says Ready and/or any other error messages.
If the printer says Offline, press the red/orange button etc. to change the status to Ready.
-
If everything is normal with the printer, check the print queue from your computer.
On the desktop toolbar, next to the clock, check to see if the printer icon is showing and if a ? appears on this or if there are any error messages displayed.
-
The printer may be set to work offline.
Click on Start and then Printers and Faxes.
The printer should say Ready. If the printer says Offline, right click on the printer and then left click on "Use printer Online" and the status should change to Ready. When the printer is Online the print jobs in the queue should automatically print.
If you are not able to change the network printer status to Online from the printer and/or your computer, contact the IT Helpdesk at 786.2555 or helpme@llcc.edu with the printer name and detailed description and a technician will be notified of the need for assistance.
