Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your Microsoft 365 Account
You can update your security verification information and/or add an App Password to your Microsoft Office 365 account.
1. Open your LLCC email account and select your initials in the upper right corner.
2. Select the My account link.
3. Select Additional Security Verification under the Security info section.
4. Select the App Passwords link – this appears in a gray tone. The link is active to select.
5. Your App password previously created will appear. This password can be used more than once.
a. Please make a note of this so that you have access to it, if needed.
6. Once you have added Authentication Verification, you can view this information from My account.
7. Select the Security & Privacy section.
8. You can then update your phone numbers used for account security or create and manage app passwords in the future.
